Default Preparing fiberglass cowel for painting

Hi
I am about to paint a new fiberglass cowel, what is the best thing to wash the mold release off the fiberglass?

Default Preparing fiberglass cowel for painting

I just take mine to the sink or bathtub, and wash with warm soapy water.
