Been using it, actually it does pretty well. Still difficult to scrape off, but much easier than straight-out sanding. Any paint left sands off pretty easy. And yes, its messy! But.. no fumes, no dust to inhale and so forth.. This will make the job go much faster.. Thanks!

I know it has been quite a while since anyone posted on this forum but I found this product for removing paint from fiberglass: Klean-Strip Fiberglass Paint Stripper - GAF354

http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/klea...4-p-14857.aspx

I also went to the Citristrip web site and states it is not to be used on fiberglass: http://www.wmbarr.com/citristrip/citristrip_faq.aspx

I have used Citristrip on an epoxy racing boat, it was painted with Klasskote and 2 part urethane clear coat. Took a couple of applications and had to wait awhile before scrapping with a hard plastic scraper (metal scraper scratched too much), but I am a Citristrip believer and a DAVEN believer now!! Thanks very, very much Daven for the info. No post painting problems that I thought I might have after using stripper, but I did give a good soap and water scrubbing and hosing out after stripping, but before priming, probably not something one could do with an airplane. I am very happy it has worked for you Rudy, a few people had issues with certain paints, but for the most part, it does seem to work. A bit laborious, tedious, and messy, but it does work.

Their FAQ doesn't really help you much. Just saying "fiberglass doors" doesn't mean much. It should really say if the doors were molded using epoxy or polyester resin. And honestly, I have used citri-strip on Polyester and epoxy based fiberglass parts and have never experienced the "stickiness" they mention in the FAQ.
