Funtana rebuild
Recently I was restricted on what I could do and couldn't go to work due to surgery. So I pulled my old Funtana 40 out of the rafters and decided to spend my time rebuilding/covering it.. Also the cowl was badly dinged up and since Horizon no longer supplies them, I had to rework it also.
The airplane was crashed about 4 years ago and patched together just to be able to fly it again, so it was in need of a rebuild.
I don't want to make this thread just about my rebuild, I would also like to see pictures of others that have rebuilt/repaired/or just recovered an airplane.
I haven't flown glow airplanes for quite a few years now, so now I need to find a buyer for my rebuilt Funtana. I fly giant scale, 33%-35%
Below is a before picture

RE: Funtana rebuild
Some more after pictures.
Some of the mods I did were, added rudder pull-pull to get the rudder servo more forward. Installed rudder servo just aft of turtledeck and added a access panel to get to it.
Took out the linkage that connected the 2 elevators and designed them each with their own servo. Made the cutouts the size of a HS-225 so it should be about the same weight as a single standard servo.
Added a access panel under the fuel tank, to make access easier while installing fuel tank.
Used robart hinges instead of CA hinges on elevators and rudder.
