J-3 Cub Langing Gear
 

I am assembling a GP J-3 Cub ARF. I want to add a few scale features, gas tank indicator, cockpit, air breather, landing gear and the like. I have seen lots of photos of a full scale J-3 and was wondering if anyone has some ideas on what might be a way to approach realism re: the landing gear.?? This may not be the best thrread for a question like this.
Any help...appreciated.

You may have better luck posting your question in one of the other forums, instead of the Composites forum. Robart sells some scale working J3 cub landing gear, so that would be where i would start for figuring out how to make them up. I would also probably use brass sheet/Tube's and Music wire for the various parts.
