I screwed up the mix now what do i do?

For some stupid reason I think I did not mix my laminating epoxy correctly and it is taking long to cure. It is almost cure but still a bit stick, can barely leave fingertip marks when you touch it.
What can I do?

thanks you!

You can try heating it up a bit. Sometimes heat will help if you were close enough on the mix ratio. Basically, consider it an oops. Epoxy must be mixed correctly... that's the one catch.

Was it too little hardener? Too much hardener? Not enough mixing time?

i think that i did not put enough hardener. i can not remove the carbon cloth wiout ruining the fuselage! besides heat is there anything else i can do?

You can wait and hope. If you were pretty close, it may be hard enough in a month or so.

If you are sure it was too little hardener, I guess you could try brushing hardener over the surface... but then you'd have one heck of a mess to clean up, and it probably wouldn't help anyway.

Sorry to say this but there is not much that can be done. Try what has been suggested and then wait it out and see what happens. Even if the resin appears to have cured after a time the integrity of the fuselage might not be suitable for its intended purpose.

While you are waiting for some result you will be looking at it every day for the next few weeks and getting more and more irritated. Whenever I have a disaster like that I take an hour and clean it out and get rid of it. Then it is over and I do not have to worry about anymore.
