I restored this for my father. Finally finished after about 2 years of fits and starts. It is a 1948 Scientific kit with a McCoy Sportsman 36 from the same year. Evidently the first design by Dick McCoy exclusively for glow. I accumulated all period accessories for it, Veco bellcrank, wheels and fuel tank, Froom spinner, Grish Plasticote Tornado prop, all slot screws, bent music wire leadouts, etc. It's painted in the same scheme and numbers as my parents family airplane we all cruised around when I was in school. It's long been sold and dad's still active in modeling and full scale at 77, and this is his Christmas present.

Nice build, specially like your effort to find period parts. Your dad will be pleased! Happy new year
