Default First contest for my Taube

Saturday I flew the Jeannin Stahltaube at the Brodak Fly-IN. I had the highest static score but a bad carb adjustment caused me to kill The engine on landing costing me Throttle Option points. You should see the "Wing Wave" option. Video is coming soon.

Clancy, she's as pretty in the air as she is on the ground. Hey man, that's only 1 fly-in. I can see lots more in her/your future.

Yeah, great plane!!

My friend Frank Carlisle video recorded my first official flight on the Taube and posted it on the AMADistrict 7 CL Forum. Hope you enjoy the flight!

After the contest, back at the motel, two more friends Dennis Lipsett and Johnny Recker ran the engine and dialed in the carb, It took over a half turn in to get the low speedtostopflooding the engine. The Owners Manual says to not turn it over 1/8 turn at a time. That was only the second time I had everran aFour Stroke engine!
