Hi all, My inlaw and i are getting back into C/L flying and we were wondering if, or how many flyers were near the Titusville, Fl area??

Here's a link to an R/C club @ Titusville that has a fair number of C/L flyers and a very nice field with lots of room. Have attended C/L fun flies there and it's a good site.

thank you very much!!! i know a bunch in that club and just recently heard they had two new 70 foot circles for C/L!!!! they are having a big bird r/c fly in this weekend and my inlaw and i are going sunday........

I just love any model and FF, C/L, R/C and espically FF indoor are my favorites!

woth gas prices hovering about 3.39 + or -... we may look for a piece of real estate a little closer than 24 miles.......he's retired and i am almost, but i work for the county so both of us have to watch our travel budget to get some flying in...

i was in Graves hobbies this past wednesday and met a guy that flys C/L just off of 528 and a little west of the Orlando international airport....... dont get there often but my lovely bride was having a heart cath and i zoomed over there while she was snoozing......

again, thank you very much and maybe we can meet and fly one day!!!

I am heading there for a vacation, but the site looks like quite a hassle to even visit. They have a snowbird deal but I don't have room for any planes.  Looks like a good club though.

we attended a big bird r/c meet at the indian river control society site at the brevard county landfill yesterday.......WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SITE!!!!!! www.IRKS.org is the website i think??

and they have two circles for c/l....not sure how often folks get there.....

Glad you liked the club. If I lived in the Titusville area, I'd be flying there. A couple of buddies and myself fly C/L on Saturdays near the Orlando airport @ the old McCoy Field area just West of the airport. Perhaps we'll meet someday. I typically attend IRKS C/L events when they have them.

sure dont. but he was close to my age which is in the 60's, but he may have been younger??

my inlaw and i sat in my shop yesterday and found some real treasures tucked away in boxes......lots of c/l stuff....
