RE: Convair
I well remember these things Horrid little things that they were.
I would suppose not many have survived and those that did my be worth something one day
I really tried to fly that horrid little thing but it only went up and crashed to the ground several times.
Think maybe just for kicks and giggles I wil buy that one on the ever popular site.

Don't know if it is this or another: [link=http://www.ebay.com/itm/181120692913]E-Bay - Athearn Convair POGO C/L VTOL.....w/box[/link]
These are collector items and somewhat pricey. I'd think it would be neat for someone to model one of sufficient size to mimic the motions of the Bi-Slob CL "3D" bipe. That would be kind of fun, actually. Launch in VTO mode, hover, engage in horizontal flight, loop, back to vertical hover, etc.

RE: Convair
The Pogo is extremely rare- high $ too. There are plans about for balsa versions- also one or two non-Scale VTOL types like the VeeTo that was in MAN in the 1950's.
