Combat Museum
Here's my latest pics of my Combat Museum. There are still over twenty more to get built. If your ever in Lubbock Texas feel free to come by and take a look.

Fantastic collection Mr. Mears. I would love to see your collection as well as hear your storys of your past adventures in combat. As long distance travel is becoming increasingly difficult for me I would suggest you write up your storys and even just post them right here.
I did dabble in combat long ago in high school it was only just a group of us kids and not even real contests. I have always though kept a hand in just sport flying right up to this day, even after all my buddies abandoned Ukie for Rc. Sad day.
Thank you for posting those photos.

Awsome, amazing, wonderful. It would be great if you had the airplanes names, and designers large enough to read on this site. Didn't see a Flight Streak? I think I recognized a Voo Doo, but wasn't sure. Thanks for a trip down memory lane.

BTW...if you put your cursor over the pic it will tell you the name of the airplane. If you double click the pic you get a larger version.

Funny thing too. The one pic that didnt show up was the picture of the Predator that I flew for the last 10 years of so in Fast combat. As soon as I put that name in the site shut me out. May do it again when I post this. Guess thats not a good word on this site.....

Im pretty sure I have the Nose Cone. I dont have the interceptor, but thats not really one that I want either. I just noticed the Nose Cone was for smaller engines too. I'm looking only for fast combat airplanes. Anybody got any of those laying around that that never going to build?

I've always admired that Interceptor kit. Hopefully one of these days someone will make the plans available for it, so it can be scratch built. A McCoy .35 Red Head would be perfect for it.

he wants to get rid of. He too is/was interested only in Fast Combat designs(no Slow Combat models...).

Bob, great work. It is really cool to see this. Combat has such a great history, and is so much fun. I do not fly combat anymore, but still have a fleet of fasts ready to go. I got to fly with you guys back in the early 90's, as I teamed up with Dave Henderson. Maybe I could send you one of our designs to add to your collection? Not necessarily famous nationally, but an important design locally none the less.
