Default First time I've seen a control line pulse jet

Fascinating to watch the guys start these things up and run them for 8 laps at 200mph+. I was mildly terrified filming it even though I was behind a fence. This was filmed at the BMFA Power Nationals in the UK. A 3 day event that brings together competition across a wide range of disciplines. Filmed in UltraHD / 4K.

Nice camera work with the explanation first, and the slow mo was kind of interesting. I always laughed at the guys that hid behind the cars when I was a kid. A D speed is actually more dangerous with the torque rolls on takeoff. The noise is alarming, it impairs your judgement. It is quite hard to run around the pylon at those speeds too, and they pull quite a bit. Good pilot there.
