Hi all

Anybody have a plans set of original design of Nobler, may be .49 size or .35 ??

There are many Nobler plans about as well as modern kits and an ARF.

Theres the 'Original' Nobler as really designed by GMA (available from Brodaks).

Theres the plan as published in MAN? Designed by GMA from memory.

And the Green Box (different from either of the above).

One thing Tony overlooked in the query above is the reference to ".49 size". There never was a CL Nobler intended for engines larger than 40's. TF produced an RC Nobler in the 1980's, and Great Planes has reintroduced that. This forum wouldn't be appropriate as a place to ask for plans to that one.

There was also never any Nobler intended for an 049. George designed one original Nobler, then drew three slightly different sets of plans in 1951, 1956, and 1989, all intended to be for the same plane, and only the very last one was truly totally accurate. He also designed a Junior Nobler for a Fox 15 engine.

Yes there are .049 Noblers in a couple of sizes, also Agwagons and Magnums, as I recall. There were a number of these plans in George's plan collection auctioned at the last VSC. I got out bid so I don't have one.
