Dyna-Jet
In the 1960s I started Dyna-Jet engines using a Model T spark coil and a manual tire pump. Is alternate equipment used these days? If a compressed air tank will work, how is it used? What is a source for obtaining spark coils and Dyna-Jet parts? Is there an easier method of starting than using air and spark? Seems like I heard about priming the tube but I never saw this done. Thanks for any advice from up-to-date pulse jet enthusiasts.

RE: Dyna-Jet
Try looking in at the North American Speed Society website. The Dyna-Jet flyers might be easiest to find there.

I just went to the site for the NASS. I did not know it existed. Looks like anything and everything you ever wanted to know about speed is there. Thanks, DOC Holliday
PS: Loved the sound of the Dyna Jet.

RE: Dyna-Jet
Hi, you can buy new out of the box Vibrator Coils from antique Ford Parts distributor in Oklahoma City. They go all the back to the Model T.
