Get together at UK Nats!
A get together has been mooted for all forum talkers at this years nats see:

It is (was) the largest flying event in Europe - apart from the R/C competition and display (which I have no interest in) they fly:
Modern and Vintage Team Racing
Speed
Combat
Aerobatics
Carrier
In the evenings sport free flight models are flown and in the hanger (where the bar is) indoor models are flown by kids from 5 to 85!
It takes (took) place over 3 days at RAF Barkston Heath in Lincolnshire - about £7 per person for a day ticket and £18 for camping over the whole weekend.
It was a blast - divided my time between the speed, vintage team race and combat circles - I'm a novice aerobatics flyer but find it relatively boring to watch.
Perhaps next year?
