Default TOPFLITE ARF "Nobler" tips and mods?

What are the popular "mods" or "changes" on the TOPFLITE ARF Nobler?
even withh the R/C ARF's theres always a popular mod here or there people use,
on the "NOBLER" the areas I'd imagine could be the control system, eng. mount
structure, proper alignment. etc.

Any hints or tips greatly received

New control system, including leadouts, and watching the alignment carefully seem to be what most have done. I've heard of a few beefing up the area betweeen the engine bearers too.

Replacing the hardware is the main mod. Early on, quite a few bit the dust from control linkage failures. I watched a brand new one go in because the pushrod pulled out of the elevator clevis. Someone reported a bellcrank that wore out in a short time. Tom Morris sells a complete conmtrol system package for somewhere around $30. Bellcrank, CF rods, the whole bit. There were a few reports of kits that had alignment problems. So check the incidence carefully. Otherwise they have been really fine flying models. The Tutor is very good, also. Ditto-check the hardware.

Thanks guys
My hunch's were correct change the whole control system and also I'd
build up the nose solid top block, fill in the bearers , get rid of the plastic
cowl and make a proper one to suit.

[X(] How about the clunk tank on these are they reliable or replace it as well??

The clunk tank will work when set up properly. The tank that comes with the kit is plenty big for Fox 35 Stunt. DOC Holliday

The clunk tanks are a fairly recent "improvement" over the original metal tank supplied with the earlier production runs.

The plastic clunk tank is Great Plane's 6 oz tank from their Viper ARF Quickie 500 offering:
