I just built this one based on plans from Tony Elmore's site. You just need to scale them up. He also has plans there for the Zero (Red Dragon), Mustang (Stallion) and the FW-190 (Wolverine). I've put an old OS 20 into the P 40. Anyone for warbird combat?..........John

They're nice designs - I currently have a Wolverene (bought ready built) with a PAW19 - it is built exactly as the plan including the colour scheme - haven't flown it yet.
I also saw a Wolverene at last years Nats with the most clapped out Fox 35 I've ever seen - still flew well.
A member of my old club had a Red Dragon/Frog 500 - a good pair.

Hi Tony, thanks for the great site you've got going. I've spend many enjoyable hours reading the articles, looking at the plans and scanned pictures. I've even built a few of the featured designs..............John

Hi 64stang, my method is to slightly enlarge the original image on the scanner, ink in the outlines I need, rescan at high resolution, get that image into MS Paint and resize a known dimension (such as a 2" wheel or 3" bellcrank) then tile print the pages, trim 'em and stick them together. Still comes out a little blurred, but I don't have problems working with it. OR you can just get the full size plan from XList in the UK. Also what SGC said!.......John
