Default Vintage CL with Al wing

Does anyone recognise this? I saw it in an antique shop in India but they wanted AUD$210 (US$165) for it. It has an aluminium wing and tail feathers. I think the vertical stab is missing and the plastic canopy is a bit damaged, otherwise it just looks aged. I'm not a collector and thought it would look nice on the shelf but a bit much. Is it worth it?

Yes, it is worth to have the airplane in metal. They outlived many, many balsa models.

Here are the plan of the whole aluminium plane

It looks like a diesel powered speed ship. I've seen some old metal Control-line warbirds go for huge sums on ebay($1000+) but they weren't missing parts and looked much nicer. A couple of hundred bucks might not be unreasonable.

Engine is a 1cc. ED Bee Mk1
I don't know what the plane is, though.
I guess it must be of British origin, late 40's or early/mid 50's

I would say mid fifties because of the nylon prop with no tip color for safety. I remember Top Flite started putting color stripes on the tips and Grish made the Tornadoes in yellow for safety. I would GUESS that other manufacturers did something similar.

Thanks for you responses. I managed to get a closer look and it is marked "Palikit Made in England"
Looked closer at the price tag too and it's AUD$500! Too expensive for me.
