"Pizza Box Flyer" was the only sensible Acronym match that Google would give me. I had to ask that (subject line) after seeing Mr. Clean's tagline in his comment to Dan Vincent in the Space Bug on eBay thread.

"Intentional landings WITH a PBF are not
the intentional design OF the PBF "

Yes, Pizza Box Flyer. Basically a 2 foot square of Coroplast with 4 channel controls. You're flying a leaf and it FLYS like a leaf. Experts like Dave McDonald can do fantastic things with it. I was JUST getting hovering down when my summer flying stopped about a month and a half ago. I'm hoping to rectify that pretty soon by flying after work.

The biggest thing about the PBF though is even though it's really flittery and crashes often Usually the only thing that breaks is the prop. I buy em by the bag and go through em like that too. But you should have seen some of the crashes, the oopsies, the draggin the tail along the ground by accident but riding it out and the sudden gust of wind that had me in an inverted flat spin into the corn. There was one time where I was too gentle on the throttle and the darn thing settled into the 10 foot tall corn next to my flying field BUT I kept my cool and kept coming up on throttle and the darn thing after trimming off the tassels climbed right back out.

It's basically just a thumb trainer. Like learning the pattern, if you weren't sure what or your reflexes didn't know what to do while you're flying, they do afterwards.

Course then you start flying combat and your reflexes need a couple doses of RedBull with a nodoz in to keep em active.

Here's a picture of mine
