If any UC fliers are going to the Toledo show next week be sure to stop by the Sig Mfg. booth and check out our latest control line vintage kits. They are updated and laser cut Berkeley Lancer and the Mini-Zilch. Both of these can be seen on the Sig Mfg. Facebook page and there will be some there to buy. Also let the guys know what you would like to see from Sig.

Hey Bob and the fellows at Sig thanks for keeping the Ukie fires lit. Checked out the Mini-zilch at the website but no joy for the Berkeley Lancer.

For those of us who avoid Facebook and such when can we see it on the website. Sorry Toledo is much too far away for us gimpy old guys in wheelchairs who never completely abandoned controlline:cool:

Bob, maybe some classic combat models for the vintage events?

Maybe 3 packs of F2D kits like the Russian ones? They can use a .10, or up to .36 motor for 75mph/fast combat too.

Check out the Lancer we just introduced.

Would love to Bob but where? Its not on your web site with the Mini Zilch and keep in mind Facebook is the wrong answer for the demographics that likely seems to be your market.

It is not in our web catalog yet but we have them in stock
and some are going to Toledo.

I saw the kit at Toledo. Looks interesting, I already spent all my money at the swap meet by that time. 1958 was a great year. (I was born that year.)

Bob, why not put out an ARF or ARC Twister, or Banshee, or even your new Lancer? Seems we are living in an "instant" world today where people want it NOW! There seems to be a resurgence in C/L recently and mayby with the ease of an ARF someone might be more willing to give C/L a try. I cant imagine the total number of those Cox PT-19s that kids got started on many years ago. Just a thought....Gene

I am interested in an U-control Airplane. Use to fly them when I was a young kid.

I like the Berkeley Lancer because it is a Laser Cut Kit and in another post it is shown with electric motor.

Would this be a good model to train on?

Did the Lancer make production. Do not understand why I could not find it on Sig's Web Page?

We have been slow getting it in our catalog but it will go in the control line vintage section. You can still order it by the BER134 stock number for $69.95 and we have them in stock. If you have flown control line before it should be no problem. You will get a little dizzy the first couple of times but that goes away pretty quick. The plans don't show the electric conversion but it is pretty simple. It flies well with a .15 to a .20 engine so you can keep the speed down while getting used to flying again.
