Big Stik 60 rebuild
Hi Guys,
A friend of mine at our club gave me his crashed GP big stik 60 after a windy bad landing/hitting the fence . I always love this plane, I will rebuild it with some changes like taildraggers and new covering scheme. My friend was kind enough to gave me new set of wheels, engine mount, spinners and few other hardware. Fuselage is not too bad, tail is in one piece just need to be reattached, right wing is bad, but repairable with patience.
Cheers,
Hedwing

RE: Big Stik 60 rebuild
Mine had more severe damage to the fuse and about the same wing damage, after a nose dive into the ground dive.
At first I thought about buying a new airframe, but once I removed the covering, I found the repairs to be quite easy, given how the plane is built.
A couple of evenings of work later and the plane has been flying since.
I now have a heavy 3400mAh NiMH battery pack behind the main wing area.
This moved the C.G. back and made the plane even more aerobatic.
It can now knife edge clear across our field with little correction.
The Big Stik is one tough plane, and one of my favorite "go to" planes.
