The strange part in that kind of crash is that if you want to make it, ie perform a head on mid air, you never succeed. I bet you may try to crash like this, say ten times, you won't succeed. And when u don't want it, bam ! Once is enough... Destiny is sometimes hard to understand !

RE: Crash movie
Mr Crash Happy...
I take it that was all filmed at your club?
Are there any people there that actually know how to build, balance and subsequently fly airplanes...? If there are, maybe they could help out the less experienced people in the club a little...
A couple of them planes are clearly tail heavy... The Decathlon looks (looked ) like it could use a couple of ounces of lead in the nose for instance...
And a couple of these planes look like they're piloted by people who have never actually held a transmitter in their lives before...
What's the dude with the biplane trying to prove...? Showing off his ability to do full power touch and go's?
What's with the smoke bomb in the barrel?

RE: Crash movie
Hi! Thanks for these movies, really great!
I have a special request. I'm sure the folks over on the aerodynamics forum would be interested in the segment of video showing the tip vortices coming of the Lazy Bee flying through the red smoke. Can you cut out those few seconds of video?
There is tip vortex thread active now: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/wing...1138176/tm.htm

RE: Crash movie
Just tried the Lazy Bee/ smoke video. Downloads in about 5 seconds on my cable connection.
Have done the same thing with a Zagi and a LMH at night, under construction lights. You should see the cool stuff you can do to a smoke trail with a heli!
