It's hopeless!
I don't see any way to repair the damage from this crash. A professor with the McGiver skills to make a radio from two coconuts and a gum wrapper could not fix this kind of damage!

I have always thought it would have been a fun challenge to try and fix the minnow 
Ginger and Mary Ann would make it less likely to have been a quick repair...
