What the heck?
The plane: a foamy mxs
the cause: unknown
It dived out of a turn, into a spin, and into the ground. It had been diving out of turns for the entire flight. however, It was not divng on the first flight. What could cause this?

Center of gravity moved forward? Sounds like CG ballance had moved to far forward...
How was the battery fastened to the airplane?

Check the plns for the recommended CG location and check it before each and every flight. This comes into play with electrics and the removable battery packs. Going with larger capacity packs then the original design will most likely have a significant impact to the CG. Battery packs have ot be secure so that they are not able to move during flight.

Continental drift my friend, continental drift....
Maybe structural damage - partially cracked fuselage or wing perhaps -it is not allways visable until stress is put on it. But the battery is a good call.

The original owner alredy had cg checked out, and it was fine on the first flight. (but a little noseheavy) The battery had no room to move anywhere, and it was in the same place as the first flight. It could have been structural damage, it was a pre-owned plane and the first landing that I did was a little hairy.(to say the least) The battery was a little bit big for the plane, but the original owner had flown it with the same sized battery. What else could have done it?
