my first crash
ive been flying for about 4-5 months, powered planes, before that gliders for a couple years, foam zagi type gliders so crashes didnt matter,
my latest plane was a gp cap 232 40 size,
ive had it for about 4 flights, but so far i havent been able to get the engine running right, and its been conking out in the air,
last timeit conked, i was coming intowards the runway, kinda low, came in smooth, towards the middle of the runway, where my mistake happened, i turned the opiset diferection of the ocassional small wind gusts, just as i leveled out going down to the end of the runway, my plane all of a sudden droped from about 4 feet, before i could even react, smack, came down just shy of hitting the spinner, ripped the nylon bolts that held the landing gear, sanded down the bottom of my muffler, part of my fuse and wing, and smacked my tailgear into my rudder, all in all, not a bad crashed, those nylon bolts went a long way.
the metal ones supplyed would have taken alot of the fuse with it.
planes allready fixed, other than my engine problem.

RE: my first crash
The airplane sounded like it tip stalled. You had to keep the speed up. You didn't and you had no more lift to keep it up and it went right in. If your engine quits, keep the speed up by putting the nose down.

RE: my first crash
That could be the reason the engine quit, but the aircraft tip stalled. To avoid that, have a faster air speed. When your engine quits, depending on situation, put the nose down to get some airspeed.
