How to make a $120 ARF priceless...
This Forum appears to be the Dutch equivalent of RCUniverse.

I don't speak Dutch but judging by the pictures over 15 pages and 20 months this guy crashed and rebuilt his plane at least four times! And did a pretty darn good job. I would have thrown it away after the first. Now I'm not sure about his flying skills but he sure can rebuild.

LOL!
I counted 3 times but I might have skipped a page or two. I loved the photo of his shop with all the covering on the floor.

I sure hope he learns to fly as well as he rebuilds, that final recovering scheme was IMACULATE ! and such a sharp design ...he's got the bug bad rebuilding that thing so many times...it looked like a cherry bomb went off in the cockpit in a couple of those wrecks...

I agree with you.. What an awesome design.
Just looking at the photos I counted at three (for sure) repairs. Maybe four.
But again.. What a truly sharp design....

Hey Drunkenbushman, hey did you ever end up getting a PZ spitfire??
I have been offline for a while and havent followed up the old threads.
If you did get one how does it actually fly?

I went to a small airshow today. Look what I found!!!
P.S. The airshow was wonderful. Not big, but the crowd was less than 100 yards from the flight "box". Two Spitts, 1 S-300, a couple more I can't remember, similar to the S-300. And a Stearman. All did great routines. But the stearman, big and slow, was possibly the most spectacular. Sliding down the runway, 20 feet (or less) altitude, smoke on... Man I wish I had brought my camcorder instead of just my digital.

Wow, I'll send that guy my next built airframe so he can do my next covering scheme. It looks like I'd probably want to do the maiden flight though.[sm=what_smile.gif]

I also laughed very hard when I was reading the posts you guys made
The thread starter must have laughing out loud when het made his first post.
But I can tell you that after 1 (or was it 2 ) more repairs the plane still flies again [8D]
Up till now the plane has made 135 flights and 18 hrs and 15 min of flying time, and that will be more.
Just one of our "always flyable" plane

Berto...You are the most patient man I have ever ran across!! You also do some fantastic work. The Blue/Red version is beautiful.
I dare any man to call this airplane an ARF. It's darn near a scratch build! Keep up the good work.

That was one of the most entertaining 17 pages I have seen in quite some time.
Who needs a translator when pictures are better than a 1000 words.
When he got it all back together in the beautiful blue/red star scheme I was shocked to see the nose broken off right in front of "lucky" the pilot.

Hye reincarnate,
Thanks for the kind words.
Hye daven,
And after that many times the gear broke off, but it still flies
Just a nice "all day" air plane with scale looks.
Greetz,
Berto.
