Default Hangar Nine Arrow 40 trainer

My Sons Spectrum DX5e linked to Spectrum AR600 (DSMX) had total radio failure and his Arrow 40 nosed in hard. We have rebuilt this plane once (same radio combination failure) without plans and had it flying great. This time the damage is a little more severe and it would be helpfull if we had some plans to go by to cut the new wood. Does anybody know where we could get the plans? The original plane was an ARF but we could use plans with wood shapes and sizes for the rebuild.

Thank you

After the first crash I looked online and saw others with problems with the AR600 and Spectrum / Horizon Hobby responded to make sure antennas were 3" apart and not touching metal. After rebuild we made sure the antennas were installed in the optimum manner, didn't help. I will net be using this radio or receiver again. Sent both of them back to Spektrum / Horizon Hobby. I now just need to see if they are going to do anything.

Couldn't find plans so the rebuild is a little slower. Horizon Hobby / Spectrum stood behind there product and when they where told I wouldn't fly with that radio equipment the did the right thing. Thank you Horizon.

Your a better man than me. I just saw that H9 discontinued the Arrow so rebuild I guess was your only option for that airframe. Looks like you lost every rib in the right wing panel. Looks like you and your son do very good work too!

ORIGINAL: Mr67Stang

Outstanding!

Plane flies and looks like new. Prior to the rebuild we needed 3/4 oz. of lead in the nose to get cg right so rather than cutting out lightenning holes in the plywood under the balsa for the front of the fuselage like it had, we used solid plywood with balsa covering and when the plane was put back together the cg was exact and the side to side ballance was also exact with no need for additional weight. This time we are using the AR6210 rx with a brand new Dx5e and the radio setup seems solid. Now we are back to the GP Super Decathlon kit that was put aside for this rebuild project.
