Had to crash om my birthday didnt I !!!
well i have had the plane (home run (from black horse kits)) for about 2 years now.... i have been flying for over 5 years and this is my first totaled plane. i have to be kinda happy i that this is my first totaled plane... anyway here is a pic of when i took it home.
I was just pulling out of a stall turn and the plane started to spiral.. since i was well above 100ft i just watched the plane hit the floor hard...
i had to pull the engine out the floor as it had embedded itself in about 4-5 inches deep and the debris from the plane spread a good 7meter radius from the crash site.
PS: grrrr. cant get the pic to work.... well try this link [link=http://www.freewebs.com/s2000_obsession/planecrash.htm]here[/link]

RE: Had to crash om my birthday didnt I !!!
oh my battery was fine ... only 2nd flight of the day. to this day i am still not sure what caused the crash. I never found the RX batt at the crash site, i spent a good 20 min or so looking for it as i wanted to narrow down all posibilities. i sent in my TX and RX + all servos and all came back fine. I still threw all the servos away but kept the RX as it was hevily padded and was still in padding when i found it!.

Could have been worse. I broke my arm on my birthday. Funny thing is I broke the same arm on my 3rd birthday too. 36 now... you'd think I would have learned. Sorry about your plane.

yea the wheels are about the only thing that are worth using again!.. unfortunatly my birthday has passed but i was able to find a great deal from a board member for a Flair Lark including everything apart from RX for £220....
engine: OSmax .61FX with tuned purple pipe
Servos... 6001s (JR) (I think) and one 9001 and one coreless
and only had 5-10 flights
so anyway i should be getting my pictures developed soon then i will scan them in.
