Default 4 star 40 vs. tree's

[img][/img]

On the maiden voyage about 3 minutes in, radio cuts out and my new 4 star goes into the tree line (my arch nemises) behind my house. Bad battery connector to blame. Destroyed .46 asp engine and severly damaged ego.

Hey your gas tank is empty. Or did you empty it after you crashed?

Hmmm,... a tree ate my 4*40 too...I wonder if it's a design flaw?

The tank emptied itself until I got out there. It split right open. The pilot even had a hole in the back of his head.[:@]

Oh man, that is especially disturbing that your pilot sustained head trauma. That's personal []

The good thing is I can still smile. That is one thing about the hobby, You know your gonna crash, so get over it when it happens and laugh about it. If not you will not be in the hobby for long ! I have some great ,great video clips of planes spinning in and coming apart in mid air. Our little club has a lot of beginner pilots and builders so I always have the camera rolling. If I can figure out how to get them into a digital formatt I will post them. Don't get me wrong I don't like to crash or see anyone else go down but if it's gonna happen you might as well enjoy it right ?
