Here's a pretty good one.

well it looked to me like that plane was destined for a crash the moment it took off! for what i can see it was very nose heavy, most of us know if there is a trim problem you sort it out with pleanty of hight!
nice crash anyway
Since i am an instructor for our club i have to be carful with the new guys planes..... and yes we all learn a hard way [:@]

yup your right.... because it was a duraplane.. i think a brick with a motor would fly better than those do....[:'(] sorry for the loss.. put the floats on a decent plane next time!!!

Well, actually, I'm curious as to how durable the duraplane was - did it survive?

(and I agree, they dont fly well)

It's my brother's plane and it's ready to go again believe it or not. Soft dirt helps a little but these are really durable planes. Probably as tough as they come. I disagree about them not flying well however. (I've seen videos of just about every type of plane crashing.) I learned to fly with mine and now it is a float plane also. I can't even count how many great flights I've had with it, even with the extra weight of the floats. I would highly recommend this plane to any beginner.

no offense... but have you flown any other airplanes besides that one?? (just asking)
I would highly recommend this plane to any beginner.
to each their own... but i would NEVER recommend that plane to anyone.. i have had the non-pleasure of flying a few (3) and they all sucked.. 1 maiden and 1 for *****s and giggles. it was all i could do to get it thru the pattern..[:'(] and a diffrent one just to see if they are really that bad still..(for my own curiosity) never again.

I have 8 other planes and still like flying the duraplane.

I guess we agree on at least 2 things,

To each their own and you probably shouldn't fly a duraplane again.

But that's cool.

Nothing personal against anyone here but this was funny.

I would have to agree that the Duraplane is great trainer. Easily repaired. My six year old is learning with it and is doing awesome.
