Gravity took over Funtana 40
With a very low fuel tank I pulled her into a low Hover and voila the engine quits and all is silent for 5 seconds. She did a perfect tailslide and then the OS 91 FS proceded to ram it's way through the airframe after impacting directly and perfectly on the spinner. My fault and I will part out the leftovers to my club. Some may say it is repairable, but it is a good excuse for a new birdie.Havent been very active lately, but I see there is a H9 Funtana 90 size available......

Holy crap how fast were you going when you hit the ground?
Thats what my Aresti looked like after I went in nose first about half open coming out of a split S.[:'(]
Good luck with the .90 size[sm=thumbup.gif]

Once she turned around and headed nose down,it only fell about 10-15 feet.Funtanas are built light, and do not handle impacts like this well....

You'd be suprised how easy a fix that would be. One evening in the shop and it would by tip top....but like you said...good excuse for a new bird. Give it to some nice kid at the field and send me that 91FS.
