Default GP Ultimate hurt bad

Hurt my favorite airplane the other day. A little windy out and trying to fly in real close and tight. One to many spins and was too low. Almost pulled out but the gear pancaked in and broke off and through the lower wing. The balsa and monkote flying out behind it as it skidded across the grass was nice but not worth the repairs.
Think I'm just gonna order the parts for a new lower wing from Great Planes and rebuild it. This plane has been great for 700 or so flights. Seems a lot easier than scratching it.
Anyone tried to get kit parts before?

I ordered parts from Great Planes and they are on the way. Gonna replace the entire bottom wing. (retracts?) I'm still flying but sure love this airplane and might get it back in the air this season.

Hey don't feel so bad. See that Kangke CAP232 120 in my avatar? I had to buy a new wing after the maiden. $150 for a new wing. Also a bit of work minor repair on the main gear block. Sucks when those things happen on maidens. Cause of crash? Snapped my aileron servo shafts and had to land with rudder and elevator in a bad spot. I'll have all the parts and need to get busy. I'll have it up in a few weeks.

BTW, I need a bipe.
