Default Me262 loosing nacelles

look that shot I took in a belgian jet event.

this me262 broken his nose landing gear and you can see both engine nacelle separating ! [:-]

it hapened stupidly.
the guy performed a flawless very realistic flight.
when the time came to land, things changed........
instead of performing a nice long realistic final, he tried to make a very short circuit without final leg (the aircraft existing the final turn with the nose on the runway)
he landed a wayyyyyyyyy too fast and you see the result

did you see the pilot after the crash...and the reckage?

what was the total damge...look repairable?

It looks like the nose gear never did extend -- was that the case? If so, perhaps he should have tried to 3-point it (arse down) like a taildragger.
