Default Venture 60 Crash on Maiden

I finally got to fly my Venture 60 Saturday after engine woes for weeks and I managed to partially plow the field with it. [&o] Another case of dumb thumbs due to inability to think. Plane was badly out of trim laterally (aileron badly aligned) and I couldn't handle it. Almost made one circuit of field but let it run out of airspeed on final and in it went!
Not badly damaged. Tore out landing gear plate and of course wheel pants went through wing covering. Wheel pants are history. Repairs will be competed tonight. Aileron misalignment already fixed and should be ready for flight tomorrow. I'm certain things will go better.
No pics. No digital camera.
