I couldn't have said it better. LOL[sm=lol.gif]

But thanks anyway Terry990. That's the first time I saw the pic you linked. I gave up on the original thread a while back. That B-52 definitely left a mark.

I should have read further into the forms before i posted.... Just finished reading all of the posts about the crash and the one thing no one has discussed in any detail was equipment failure....

Have a good day

There was already a thread about this a couple weeks ago (the crash). I think it was on RCU, may have been somewhere else. I have the first flight saved on my HD (succesful flight). I had to show that one to the wife. Even she was impressed at the beast. When this video was shot it was very windy. You can tell on take off. I can say that with confidence seeing the first video. It flew very smooth then. Anyhoo, what was determined in the earlier thread, which sounds logical to me, was due to a sharp turn, and a big gust that caused the big beast to spiral down. Kind of like taking a sharp turn at low speed. Thanks for the link though. But it is very sad to see something like that destroyed. I also read somewhere that it was about 4 guys total on the project. Probably had to take at least 4 guys to pay for the beast. I thought it was just so cool. To bad its no more. I'd be sick to my stomach if it was mine. There is a thread about it in the big scale forum too.
OUCH!
