Bummer man!! What Pitts was it? How many flights did you have on it? so what happened? Got too close to the ground and pulled up instead of down? Sorry to hear that.

I had about 2 hours on it. This was the Cermark Pitts. Took off from right to left made a pass and on the turn around to come back at me I took it to inverted and the next thing you know I was chasing the plane instead of it chasing me. And as you can see this was the end result of me not flying it..........but it flying me!!! There was no account of the wrong inputs at first.....but as soon as it got away from me there was alll kinds of input error's. Fortunately the top wing hit first and it took most of the impact which in turn saved my powerplant wheeew!!!!! UI also lost one excellent servo in the right wing

I'm not going to fix it for I have another one with no covering on it and have decided I will do it this winter. Both the wings were pretty tore up, the top wing was completly broke in half and the bottom wing had the wing mount section pulled through. The pics really don't do it justice as far as damage. To fix this you8 would have to rebuild from the wing mount forward. Thank's for your kind words. Stay safe in Iraq I'll be with you shortly Argh!!!!

You don't need that upper wing. Now you got a low-vinged sports plane!
