F86 maiden flight
My first swept wing 1/12 scale F86. It flew great after I got it trimed. When it ran out of gas I stalled it up and then tried to get it to level out. Big mistake, I learned real fast that without a rudder control you cannot get out of a flat spin (Top Gun type).
What it looked like before, after and after repair.

Sorry about the links but I could not get the files to upload to RCM. Kept getting error loading file.
Anyway, for those that are sheding a tear, It flies again, but this time when it runs out of gas I don't stall it anymore. I learned to give if down elevator, get speed, and land in tall grass.
This was built out of some blown up plans from a old Mag. plans, used a Magnum .25xl, w/home built muffler and 3 channels, plane weighed in at 2.75 lbs. Yes it was very fast.
