Default trim full right = trouble

On take off the other day my plane made a sharp right turn. To avoid an accident I put the plane into the ground, (kit form now). I forgot to check my trims. Brain fart? My primary radio is a JR with digital trims, so they're always set. I was using my secondary radio with this plane, ratchet trims. So that's my story. Basically I was lazy and forgot procedure. Anyone else ever have the same luck?
Regards ... franko
