It flew wonderfully!!!!
I was still shifting the cg back a little at a time, and it was getting better, and better.
The crash was completely my fault.
Dumb thumbs,and only about 10 flights after a 3 year lay-off.

Say, Mike. Is that the new Goldberg Wild Stick 40 by any chance?
If so, I have one about 95% complete. I only have to connect the ailerons and flaps then set the throws and static positions, and it's ready to maiden. What engine are you using (did you use...sorry)? I have a fairly new Evolution 40 that I put on the thing, ran it a few times with just the fuselage (without wing) and it ran great. I am reluctant to fly it because of the capabilities (3D) of this thing, not sure if I am ready for it or not.. ha..
Sorry to hear about your loss, by the way. But, build & fly, that's the only way to go.

RE: I finally get to post in this forum!!!
Dick,
With the throws as reccommended for low rates,it's pretty tame.
If you don't balance it 4 1/2 inches back from the leading edge you will run out of elevator on landing.
It flies just like a Stick on low rates.
I was running an OS 46 AX.
Wonderful engine. The plane is pretty fast even with an 11x4,but we have throttles right
It is (was) the Goldberg.
I settled on just using the outboard ailerons although I had flap/aileron mix capability.
It rolls very fast with outboard only.
All in all a very fun plane.
Put som triangle stock above the landing gear plate.
Before I killed it yesterday,I had it flying backwards in 15 mph wind with flaps.
Enjoy yours
Mike
