Well this weekend was a busy weekend for crashes. Well, maybe not but first time at our clubs 'new' field and up until now all the fields I've flown at were much smaller with fewer people. Boy do I love the wide open spaces we have now. Anyhow, here's the first one - a close up of an Aeroworks Sukhoi that played chicken with me and nearly won.

Here's a plane that landed ON the fence (didn't damage the plane any!). Looked like a skateboarded grinding down the thing as it came to a halt!

This chap seemed to be taking it good. Said he'd had the plane long enough to get his enjoyment out of it. I'd still be upset.

Coroplast is good for cheap planes, and after seeing this one nose-dive at 60mph I'm sure the owner is glad they're cheap too!

This was, I believe, a 40% or so Fiberclassics hot-rod. First time I've seen some of the big birds (there were 4 this weekend). He said he was having radio problems from takeoff and nosed it in over in the cow pasture. Very sad indeed, I couldn't bring myself to get good photos of the 'after' pics since I can only imagine his grief. This is a before 'during setup' photo I took.
