Helicopter Crash Video
One of the guys at the club this past weekend crashed his helicopter and I caught it on film.
Here's the short version for dial up folks:

And here's a 33 mb file showing some of the club activities and more of the copter flying before the crash

RE: Helicopter Crash Video
If your on Cable or DSL, you should be getting at least 200 kps. The server I use is very fast. Maybe they had a temporary techical issue, don't know, but the 33 mb file usually will download in less than 4 minutes.

RE: Helicopter Crash Video
I'm getting 78KB/sec but I'm at work and I'm pretty sure they limit incoming bandwidth. I'm looking forward to viewing the video when it downloads in 8 minutes.

Frank, that's DJ Skribble. As for the song, I couldn't tell you. I don't listen to much trance.
If you want some really good music, you're going to have to pirate it, or buy it. I suggest DJ QBert for some intense scratching, Dieselboy, TeeBee, Goldie, or AK1200 for Drum & Bass.
Nice aerobatics, and that crash looked like it hurt... How was the pilot? Did his wallet walk away, or was it hurt pretty badly? Nice thing about RC aerobatics is that if anything goes wrong, no one really gets seriously injured, or loses millions of dollars in one quick yank of an eject lever.

RE: Helicopter Crash Video
That's a X-Cell Fury. Probably an Extreme. That crash could be $300~$600. Not too bad considering that the whole heli likely costs $2500. I have one. It's not all that bad to crash a heli, because once you replace all the damaged parts, it really is as good as new.
He did a piro during an auto... that alone can drain your rotor speed, but it looked ok. Just after the piro, you see that he noses it over. That put some wind into the top of the disc... which is a no-no during an auto... and he didn't just do it a little bit... he nosed way over. In that orientation, the wind can stop your blades in less than a second. And you see that it did.
