Default Shrike VS 4 inch PVC pipe

And the Shrike WINS! sort of... A friend was launching this for me, and the bottome of the fuse was slippery. So as he was about to throw it, it slipped, I tried to fly out of it, but only flattened it out enough to land hard. Unfortunately there was a PVC marker pipe there. Damage to the shrike? The spinner breaks, and a broken stick in the back. I guess all the CF in this thing transferred the shock to the tail. Even the prop was fine!

Hah! The 1/4 inch square stick running back to the aft piece that the elevator is hinged to.

ok, very strange it broke there... Maybe that saved your plane, because it could have broken under repeated landings / high speed passes...

Which engine on it ?
