gust of wind on landing approach 10ft to impact in seconds
beautifull day a little to windy i quess

I feel your pain. The Shoestring is a beautiful plane, but weak at the first former. Sorry for your loss and hope you get it fixed or replaced. They are a blast.

Wow, I sure hate to see that. The shoestring is a beautiful Plane, and I sure hate seeing one end up like that. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry to see your day ended like that, I recently purchased a shoestring myself but have yet to put it together. Looking back, what would you do differently with respect to assembly, strengthening any parts of the plane, etc? Thanks in advance and by the way will you be getting another Shoestring?

Sorry for your loss.......BTW is that a Black and Decker Drill in the picture?
I inherited one that looks just like it. Its about 20 years old and going strong.
I guess it’s when they still made things too last, not deliberately manufacture
things too only last a year like today's hardware [:@].

hi blueline I didn't build it but it had alot of hours on it ....just a fleuk crash in high wind condition i will be replacing it or just the fuselage $249.00 cdn for plane or @100.00cdn for fuselage.not sure which way i'm going to go .......but that little rocket will be replaced

yes that is a black and decker drill and the funny thing is i inherited mine too

hi guys thanks for all the replys and yes every thing still works but the plane, so not that big of a loss thank god , but i have shoe string on hold at the moment ...the girlfriend bought me a new one for christmas ...i'm in love ..i hope this one lasts as long as your drill TIM C
