A good weekend
So we had a good day out at the field this past weekend. The Diamond Dust is mine (I just started another thread for it), that hit a tree. There's an own design fun fly that we took turns abusing (it didn't fly that well, and my friend needed the parts from it), and I was actually flying when it took the death blow. Then the same friend plowed in his little combat plane, but it flew surprisingly well, and he's gonna use the wing on a new plane. The avistar wing was from a mid-air with the 4Star (and he actually made it back to the runway and landed it). The 4Star was basically fine, just a few holes in the wing that we taped up. All in all, we had a good time....

RE: A good weekend
I envy you guys, I only have one plane i fly with a devil may care attitude and it is a load of fun.
I always tell people entering the hobby, if you fall in love with your airplane, dont fly it.

RE: A good weekend
Well that was four airplanes with four people flying, and the only one that was ment t die was the yellow funfly because it really didn't fly that well, the owner hated it, and he needed the parts in it for something else. If it was something that could have been used as a trainer, or to help someone get started we definately would have loaned it or let someone have it.
ehfleming, we fly inside the perimeter, on the southeast side of the city. The club website is http://www.atlrcclub.com/ We're having our monthly meeting this sunday at 2 (yes, yes, it's the superbowl), but stop by if you want to check the place out.
