Default Put in my cub today

I was doing touch and go's on the lake today when I stalled my cub. I was about ten feet up when as the plane was coming at me I dumb thumbed it to the left instead of the right. It stalled and all I could do is cut the throttle before it hit. Not alot of damage but enough. broken stab, broke the motor off the fire wall, broken wing platform, and a couple holes in the covering here and there. It will be fixed.

Mike,

It doesn't look too bad. When you said "touch and goes on the lake" I expected to see floats, but then I see you're in Minnesota so I understand the skis. I spent a winter in Duluth, the coldest winter of my life

This winter has been pretty mild. I have been flying most of it. Went through a gallon of fuel with out problem. I got a little cocky and paid the price. I should have let the plane come past me before taking off again. Hindsight is 20/20. Back to the Sr. Falcon for a while.

What was it that made the stab broke? How deep was the snow?
