Bad crash......cartwheeled 3 times.
Was coming in for a belly landing (no landing gear, by choice) and the wind got under one wing. It was getting gusty, that's why I came in. She slipped down and hit with the right wing tip first. Three cartwheels later she landed on her tail & bounced over one more rotation.
Total damage..................................
Broken prop.
Gotta love plastic.

Yes they are. I got the plans for that monstrosity of an airplane here.
SPAD
I live 50 miles from the nearest flying club so I never had anyone to train me. For the first 4 years I was on my own & went through about 6 Duraplane wings. Not to mention props, alluminum tail sections, stripped servos, ya know the deal. Every time I crashed I'd get discusted with it & put it on the shelf for a few months.
Then I found SPAD. That was a year ago. So far I have built at least a dozen planes. Two of which are of my own design. Today I was out (between light rain showers) practicing hammer heads, cuban 8"s and stuff like that. I'm getting confident enough now that I'm thinking of buying a warbird kit. I've never built a kit & don't want to go through the hassle of scratch building.
Check it out.

Kits can be pretty fun....that is until you RE-kit them. I just found spads as well, and I can't wait to make my own and put it in a few times.
