Crashed my Katana.
Hi. Today i crashed my katana, i dont know what was the problem, but since the second flight, its been unluck. Only the first flight was sucess, the others have been mechanical problems. And today it ended, in the earth.
I think i`m going to buy the Funtana X50, what do you think?

What a shame. It looked like a real pretty plane. Sorry for your crash. I am not familiar with the Funtana though. Sorry. I am building, well, assembling an ARF that is, a Seagull Super Star. It looks like its going to come out nice. I can't wait to fly it.
Good luck.
Good luck.

RE: Crashed my Katana.
I have owned two funtanas.. they are a good airplane but I have discovered the Hanger 9 Showtime to be one of the easiest 3D aircraft I have had the pleasure to fly. I own a Showtime 90 and would recommend it to any aspiring pilot who wants to torque roll with the best.

Thanks for the replys, it was a good looking and good flying plane, but it just didnt like me. I was thinking about the showtime too, but i want to keep the old engine, since its quite new. Its a Magnum .61 . And im afraid that its going to be too small for the showtime.
Best regards, Magnus.

Hi Magnusi
sorry about the loss - great looking plane - I love the Katana's looks and flight.
I know you've probably read this many times, but that plane looks totally rebuildable.
But I can understand fully if the light is gone on this one!
good luck with your next choice - hope you have a happier relationship with it.
cheers

RE: Crashed my Katana.
One thing that I have noticed in the "Crash and Rebuild" area is that alot of planes get REBUILT. [8D] The only ones I have noticed did not get rebuilt were the ones that were toothpicks when they were finally recovered after their sudden intro to mother earth. [:@]
Good luck on the rebuild.

RE: Crashed my Katana.
So much about ''winter project''... got the covering off today, i think i'm going to let the wings made out of foam, and i'm going to rebuild the fuselage, hope it's not going to be too heavy. If you want' i can post pic's too, but it's going to be a long progress.
