Default rebending cabanes after crash?

Any tips on how to bend back the cabanes on a biplane into proper shape? I am worried that they will pop loose from the fuselage into which they are epoxied and then everything will be up in the air. Maybe there is a way to restrain them so the wires bend back rather than busting free?
This is on a VK Camel done in by radio interference due to all the rigging. I am looking at putting in a 2.4 system before I fly it again, assuming I can get it straightened out okay. The landing gear is all twisted up too but that can be removed to work on more easily than the cabanes.
Help!

I would dig out the plans and start over, unless it is only a little bend.

Default RE: rebending cabanes after crash?

I picked up on an old build thread for this model, over on RCSCALEBUILDER.com (in the Proctor section) but, since I raised the cabane issue here, I will at least update on that problem.
I decided to make braces out of plywood, to hold the cabane blocks securely in place while I tried to rebend the wires to position. It looks like this will work but I have much adjustment to do. The braces give me leverage to bend the wires and a good centerline reference for their accuracy. If the cabanes can be fixed, the rest of the repair is just time, of which I have plenty.
