RE: NO MORE CHIPMUNK
My first post, I well remember my sons 60 Chipmunk falling out of the sky, we never knew why. He was new flying, just made a mistake I guess. I have a question about a chipmunk 40 we just purchase from a friend, we think it's a CMP plane, fiberglass fuse, I'm needing to find out the Center of Gravity on this 40 size plane. In case I don't know how to find your reply my email is [email protected] thanks

RE: NO MORE CHIPMUNK
Hey Spyke48
The CG is at the 1/4 of the cord of the airfoil on the saddle. Being a little even more nose heavy helps in this size. The 40size cmp's are tricky especialy on deadstick events. ( They get into spins ..Unrecoverable!).
Good luck!
