Default aileron positioned to high

bought a set of wings for a hangar9 p47-150 person installed robart hinges but are set too high . how do you remove them without any damage

Cut them out and re-hinge at the correct location. Simple really.

dremel with a cut off wheel.. WEAR GOGGLES

clean them up...then re-hinge as mentioned....

hinges really can't be removed once glued.....at least not without doing lots of damage

I agree with Exeter_Acres, Don't bother trying to remove all the parts of the hinge material. If you try digging it out you might compromise the wing and loose the plane later on in flight.

Yep, just cut them off, blend to the wing and aileron edges, and install new hinges of your choice in different positions. Be advised that the previous locations may have had extra wood for the hinges to attach stronger. You may need to change hinge designs.
