I try not to fly so much ,that way i don't crash so much but when I do crash (which is very rarley)i give the wreckage to our garbage disposal man at the field and he makes a plane out of several wrecks. This way we all feel a little better because a little of our wreck still lives on to fly another day -something like donating an organ. It's certantly a little different twist than the crash & burn method .

I heard the army uses RC planes to train troops on how to fire m-16s at flying targets... Good use of an old plane!!!

Arizona Viking Funeral

A few years ago, I created a pretty neat twin Senior Kadet and just as I was really getting familiar with operating 2 engines, etc. it got smacked and destroyed in an ugly mid-air collision. My buds and I gathered for a couple of adult beverages and formed an "Honor Guard" to salute the Kadet as it burned into a small carbon footprint.[8D]

Pics tell the story.

My planes don't usually last long enough to retire either. However i do have one hanger 9 alpha that has been flying for 3 years now and i bought it used. Itis on its fourthengine. It is just about so fuel soaked that CA doesnt stick in some places well. can't complain havn't really had to fix much. my twist is on its second fuse and i will probably get a new wing this year.
